We have links for where to buy over on the right side —-> of this page. What you’ll find now is great prices for any model whether it’s 32GB of 64GB.

If you want to newest Android Jelly Bean 4.1 update, the Infinity TF700 has an update available. It’s an over the air update. If you’re unsure whether you want or need the update  you can view our page here or see what Asus says about the update here.

If you’re in the USA and currently shopping for a Transformer Infinity, we recommend you read our updated page and listings here. On that page there are many many helpful comments from site visitors that can help you make the best choice on where to buy.

Here are some prices if you’re planning on buying a Transformer Infinity: $499 is the list price for the 32GB (TF700T-B1) but we’ve seen it for as cheap as $429 in the USA. Transformer Infinity 3G /4G LTE Update: The 4G Transformer Infinity will be named as TF700KL. This version will come with 16GB storage. A launch in Germany and Austria is taking place in late 2012. We are monitoring other countries for possible release dates and information.

NOTE: Regarding the Asus Transformer Prime TF201 and Transformer Infinity keyboard dock compatibility. People have been buying the TF201 keyboard dock and using with their TF700 Infinity. There haven’ tbeen reported issues and one of the biggest technology blog on the internet has verified with their sources that the TF201 keyboard dock IS compatible with the TF700. Adding to the confusion is this official statement from Asus on their product page (btw this statement is actually not correct according to multiple sources):  The Transformer Pad Infinity mobile dock is compatible with Eee Pad Transformer Prime. (The Eee Pad Transformer Prime mobile dock is NOT compatible with Transformer Pad Infinity).

  1. Addy Kasi says:

I need to preorder 2 of this product. What should I do? 07826468924

  2. Dave Wood says:

    Retail price for a 16g around…?
    Sold my iPad2 on december.
Need a replacement a.s.a.p., cause I might consider returning with Apple… But would really, really love to move to Android!

    • admin says:

Hi thanks for your comment. I haven’t heard official pricing yet unfortunately. I would think it’s going to come in at around the iPad 3 pricing. Just a guess though. Thanks for visiting the site!

      • chris says:

i also emailed asus and asked if the 700 will have a plastic back and the guy told me yes but every pic and stuff i read says its metal. so i guess the big shots at asus have no idea on what is going on with the 700

        • admin says:

Thanks for posting that info. With having a lot of products comes a bit of internal confusion it seems. Heck I could be wrong but every indication is that it’s aluminum, with the exception of a small strip of plastic used to improve wireless performance.

    • Arjun says:

Are you guys sure about the 16gb version? Thought it only comes in 32 and above…

  3. Gaz says:

I had the tf201 primes it was brilliant but for the wifi and gps falling out so i took it back i cant wait for the Infinity to come out. Will i be able to run windows 7 on it as well as android also with ipad 3 out in 16th march are we any closer to finding out a release date

    • admin says:

Hi and thanks for the post. I haven’t heard any new details regarding release date. The TF201 is in short supply which in my mind says something is up. Just speculation though. Trust me, I’m watching multiple areas to see any leaks on the Infinity 700. I’m not sure about running Windows 7 on it. With that said, expect a Windows 8 version in the fall. Again speculation on my part.

    • Arjun says:

No the os on arm devices are not interchangeable unlike pc’s

      • Adam says:

You can change the operating system. However, doing so voids the warranty, so I would highly suggest being technically competent if you are going to attempt flashing your device.

        • ed says:

Still, win7 cannot run on an ARM processor. You’ll have to wait for the tablet-compatible win8.

          • Arjun says:

Not only that but you will also need specific drivers I think. Or are drivers only for intel devices and not arm for win RT?

  4. Gaz says:

just been told that the infinity is due out in june is this true ? If so its a long time to wait another 2 half months i think people like my self are getting fed up with the messing around

  5. LayZee says:

I’m also eagerly waiting for this beauty. What is the source of the April release date stated on this site?

  6. dan says:

I just ordered the ATP, looks like ill cancel it n wait for this, the improved resolution n gps/WiFi make it worth the wait n $100

  7. jon bresnahan says:

will the transformer prime tf201 dock work with the infinity or will you have to buy a dock just for the infinity?

  8. Benni Matic says:

Will both version launch at the same time or do we have to wait longer for the LTE version? (http://eee.asus.com/eeepad/transformer-infinity/features/)

  9. chris says:

why are they telling us of Release Date: April 2012
and its not even true .. the rumor is that its comeing in june 2012
come on asus get it in gear i need one of these

    • admin says:

I would be more than happy with an April pre order situation! Heck I’m happy with an official release date announcement. It’s awfully quiet these days from Asus.

  10. James says:

I hear that the transformer prime only had 2,000 preorders and only shipped out 85,000 to date. With a huge waiting list. I would love to preorder the infinity in April. But if I don’t get it until October, heads will roll!

  11. James says:

Also I wanted to buy the 64 gig mini SD card. Do you think that card will work with this tablet?

    • Adam says:

To the best of my knowledge, this device comes with a micro SD port on the tablet and a full SD port on the keyboard dock. You can use a mini SD in a full SD port with a converter, but mini SD is really an obsolete technology that was replaced by micro.

  12. Rick says:

I too am greatly looking forward to this products release. I was very close to buying a 32 gig Transformer prime a few days ago but fought off the urge in hopes of some news about the Infinity.

Dont keep us waiting too long, less our eyes wander to other shiny things

  13. Gaz says:

If people at Asus are reading the comments that are beening left on here from people, PLEASE PLEASE release the infinty soon or people like myself will get fed up waiting as other updated products are out NOW and we all know what I am on about with out spelling it out

    • Adam says:

Do you honestly think that Asus is holding the finished product in a warehouse in an attempt to piss you off? They are in the business of making money. In order to do so, they have to sell you a product. If the product was available to sell to you, they would sell it to you. Expressing your frustration with the delays is understandable. Threatening a company who wants to sell you their product as much as you want to buy it seems a bit nuts…

  14. Mick says:

I also dearly need this.. I’d just be happy with an announcement so i can at last stop my daily google searches.. Diablo 3 and now this..

  15. baigz says:

    10 hours; 25Wh Li-polymer Battery
    16 hours pad with dock ; 25Wh(pad) + 22Wh(dock) Li-polymer Battery
    http://eee.asus.com/eeepad/transformer-infinity/features/

Does it have slightly less battery life? The Transformer Prime specs state 12 hours and 18 hours with dock respectively?

If it has less battery life then I might just go for the current Transformer Prime.

I don’t really need the 3G capability but the improved screen (might beat retina display) and improved wireless is taking me towards it. A bit confused really if it’s worth the wait or not?

  16. Jeff says:

Will the Transformer Infinity be capable of running Flash? I have been waiting for this to hit the streets, but I am wondering if Flash will be enabled on this. I heard that it works on the Samsung Galaxy, but I really wanted the higher end capabilities of the ASUS.

  17. Joe says:

Well I’m thinking of not waiting any more and getting the Acer Iconia a510 pretty much the same as the Prime but without the docking key pad. Tegra 3, micro SD card slot, etc.

  18. MB says:

Do you know if the transformer prime keyboard will be compatible with the TF700? Thanks in adavance for your response.

    • admin says:

Hi, thanks for the comment. I need to verify this answer before giving it. I just can’t recall where I heard about compatibility. I seem to think that it was different, but I need to double check that information. This can happen when there aren’t enough details coming officially from Asus. Thanks for visiting the site! I’ll post with a link asap to verify that answer.

      • MB says:

Thanks for the quick response. I ordered and received the keyboard from one vendor before being notified yesterday by another vendor that my Transformer Prime order was being cancelled. I want to avoid having a usless keyboard. But if it is compatible, I may hang on to it given the supply issues Asus seems to have. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

        • MB says:

Hi Admin, Just wondering if you had been able to track down the information about compatibility. Thanks.

          • admin says:

Hi. I’ve been thinking about this since you first posted. I’ve been going through various bookmarks etc in hopes of finding that info. I still haven’t been able to track down where I read about it. It’s important to answer for sure. I want to get this right for you. I’m also hoping that another site visitor might have heard info regarding compatibility. But no I haven’t forgotten and I’m still trying to get an answer for you. Thanks!

          • CV says:

The keyboard for the Prime is defininately compatible.

  19. MastaMind says:

Little do you know.. from my inside Asus sources are telling me the TF300 will be available on April 22nd. and TF700 is due out in late Q3/Q4 timeframe.

TF300 will be very comparable to the prime with Tegra 3 & shipping with Android 4.0 ICS. They’ll come in 16 & 32 GB.

    • admin says:

Great now I won’t be able to sleep for the next how many nights in anticipation of this!? ;-)

Thanks for posting that and I do hope we can count on your sources. Based on the TF300 going through the FCC already, I can see that date as being quite believable.

      Thanks for visiting the site.

  20. Kathy says:

Do you know if that time table is accurate? and will the TF 300 have the wifi issues fixed?

    • admin says:

With the Padfone pre order and official release date established I’m sure next up is the Transformer Pad TF300 and Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 official details.

Regarding the wifi issues, the TF300 being constructed of plastic will have no wifi issues. The TF700 Infinity model has a strip of plastic along the top which will remedy the wifi issues. Hope that helps.

Thanks for posting and visiting the site!

      • Kathy says:

So if the TF300 is due April 22, any idea if the Infinity will be close to that release or much later in the year. What are your thoughts? I would rather have the infinity with the better resolution but I was hoping to get it by mid-May for a trip.
        Thanks for the help.

  21. Joe says:

Asus has just posted that they will supply, free, a dongle to correct the GPS issue. I’ve seen some posts that claim the “newer” builds for the Prime have better wifi.
    1. Can anyone tell me how to tell a new build from an old one?
    2. Can anyone confirm that the “newer” build has better wifi?

    Thanks.

  22. Gaz says:

I read from comments that people are staring to get fed up with Poor communication from ASUS about stock of the prime i really think that we deserve more as we are the customers dont get me wrong iam not a fan of apple at all but when they say something they do it not like Asus how just keep the customers waiting very poor service allround iam really starting to think me and other people will soon start looking around other products if thing dont start improveing soon sry, god help us when the 300 and 700 models come out we will have to wait until christmas 2013 joke Hope not let see if its true and the TF300 is due April 22

  23. gettingtired says:

I’ve had 600 dollars burning a hole in my pocket since february because the infinity was supposed to be march….then rumors were june….now this post STILL says april…its the 11th of april and no news?? I may just break down and get a lenovo or galaxytab2…..come on guys tell us what’s up don’t leave us in the dark!!!

  24. sergio says:

ASUS is B.S. ing too much, I have been talked out already about 5 times preventing me from buying the new iPad, I’m getting freaking desperate not knowing when the Infinity is coming out, if witting a week I don’t hear good news, then bad news for ASUS I’m getting me an iPad, I know there are hundreds of people out there who share my opinion, ASUS… just hurry up!!!

  25. Ipad-Infinity . . . says:

I am also struggling to hold off on purchasing the new IPad. The resolution is important to me because I am an artist and would use the tablet to show my portfolio among other similar graphics uses. I dislike the control Apple exerts over input to the tablet, and would really like the option to choose the Transformer Infinity. But I need some idea of how much longer the wait is so I can decide if its worth the wait for an unseen product . . . . please some estimated arrival dates, soon!

  26. Veeash says:

Can you tell me when you’ll be releasing this in South Africa?

  27. luhercen says:

PLEASE THIS IS IMPORTATN TO KNOW FOR ALL TRANSFORMER PRIME USERS!
will the transformer prime tf201 dock work with the infinity or will you have to buy a dock just for the infinity?

  28. Gaz says:

IF the infinity TF700 is the top or the range can u tel me Y is it wifi only. You would think it would have 3G as well to be the best, but yet the 300 series do, thats just daft

    • Jono2256 says:

TF700 is coming out in 3G!

    • Andrey Sch. says:

Infinity will be wuth wifi/3G/4G LTE, so don´t panic

      • sri says:

do u know anything when the new version with 3G/4G comming out?????

        • Andrey Sch. says:

if I’m right and my contact doesn’t joke, it’ll appear in august or september, more exactly I can’t tell u, but I can only say that 3/4 g versions on tf700 won’t have nvidia tegra 3. The 4G LTE version of the Transformer Pad Infinity Series is going to come equipped with a Qualcomm MSM 8960 Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5Ghz processor.

NVIDIA has said that 4G LTE devices with Tegra 3 won’t arrive until 2013.

          • admin says:

Thanks very much for sharing that info. This makes a lot of sense to me. I’ve been reading about the S4 processor shortages. That’s really bad news for more than just Asus.

  29. Ipad-Infinity . . . says:

I’m quite happy without the 3G, just anxious to know when I can buy mine in the USA

  30. James says:

With my 4G cellphone and wifi hot spot, I’m not concerned about another wireless bill.

  31. Chris says:

I wonder if this pad will fit into the prime’s keyboard dock, I don’t feel like buying a totally new keyboard.

  32. Allan Lewis says:

I have read on-line that the transformer prime will fit in the infinity’s dock but the infinity will not fit in the prime’s dock.

  33. Allan Lewis says:

I can’t wait to see and touch the screen on the infinity! 74gb ssd sounds great too! Any updates on a USA release date? Thanks

    • Sembazuru says:

Unfortunately, the “74gb” is a type-o. If you check the ASUS website you can see that it is actually “64gb” as one of the options. (But what is 10gb between freinds?)

      • ds says:

for the computer illiterates, there is no such things as a 74gb. The memory must be in blocks of 8[squared]. That is a typo. it is supposed to be 64Gb

        • admin says:

Hello and thanks to you folks for indicating the typo. It’s been fixed now. Thanks for visiting the site!

        • Joe says:

Yes, however the manufacturers don’t use the same math regarding HDD size. Let’s just call if overhead! Right?

  34. Duci says:

Can anyone guesstimate on what will happen to the price of the currently sold Prime? I am looking for a nice tablet to just use as a browsing device, basically. I take it that the main difference between Prime and Infinity will be the screen? If it will save me an X amount of money to wait for Infinity and THEN buy Prime, I will certainly do so if indeed the screen is the main difference.

  35. hlaingu says:

It should be “Asus Transformer Infinity LTE 700 / AWS” for the US market. Please accept my best wishes.

  36. Andrey Sch. says:

Hi guys! Could U tell me plz, if I want to pre-order it, will it be delivered to Germany?

    PS
and yes, where can I pre order it? I really nedd this Thing! thx a lot!

  37. Al says:

Well, the TF300 is out and available selling at around $399, looks like a nice unit and a great price point considering what I bought my Xoom at…$579 (Cdn).

But for me with the Xoom running ICS, the change to the TF300 is just not enough, :-) the Infinity with a slightly faster clock speed, 1920×1200 display spec’d to be twice as bright as the TF300 and available with 64GB of memory is the jumping point!

Fingers are crossed that with the ASUS claim of wanting to be the king if the Android tablets, they will keep them on track with a June release of the Infinity…

  38. AB says:

Hi guys. what is the last news about the infinity 700. Are they going to release it in US and when?

  39. Kevin Kehoe says:

How do I pre-order the Infinity?

  40. Don says:

Ugh – this seems like an endless bait-and-switch. I am losting all confidence in ASUS. I was ready to buy a 201 in December, but there were manu problems, so that was reset. By the time they were shipping – there was such universal outrage… and the 700 was announced in the same price range – due before June. Now I see that we might not get it in the US until AFTER June, and the price has gone up over 25%.

Very disappointing. When I feel that a company isn’t playing straight… then I am far less inclined to give them my money. At present – since Apple is the Devil… I haven’t decided to move my money a different direction – but another delay or price-hike and I will swear off ASUS for good… this is BS

    • Don says:

I will note that while this all seems to be vaporware… it is very pretty vaporware. Maybe they should send some of the $$$ from the marketing dept to the technical department so they can actually ship something… that works

  41. dego says:

INFINITY: ANY NEWS YET? I no the frustration. This is a birthday gift for my son…lol…birthday in April…STILL WAITING for his gift. I too almost went with Apple, till i seen this. I just tell him it will be worth the wait!!!! PLEASE keep me updated of pre-order date! THANK YOU!!

  42. ed says:

Is there any way to sign up for an email notification about when the US release date is announced?

  43. James says:

After some research I have found no need to pay for storage space on a cloud service. Formatted correctly I should be able to have a 64 gig infinity, 64 gig micro SD, 128 gig standard SD, and the free 8 gig of lifetime cloud storage from Asus. Though like the tablet it comes at a premium price. But this would give 264 gig of storage without the need to throw my money at a cloud. I think Google also offers additional free storage as well.

  44. Kay says:

I would like to be notified AS SOON as the Infinity is available for pre-order and/or is released. Whichever come first!

  46. Jordan says:

    *sigh*

I think I’m done waiting for this tablet. I like android more than iOS but i mean this is ridiculous. About once a week I look up the TF700t too see if any announcment has been made. And every week I’m disappointed. Oh well, Hello Apple, Goodbye Asus. A company like this, that keeps postponing, delaying, and price jacking, is a company that people shoud avoid.

    • admin says:

I hear what you’re saying. In fact a lot of people are feeling the same way. If Asus knows what’s good, they should announce some real, actual, hard and fast release date information on the TF700. The Asus at Computex 2012 is starting in about 15 minutes so I’d hand tight and hold off on ordering that other brand!! Thanks for posting and visiting the site.

      • Kirk says:

So what is the word from the Compitex show? Is there a US release date and price?

        • DUTCH says:

All kinds of other models from ASUS at Computex, but no 700.

          • admin says:

Android is running scared at Computex 2012 that’s for sure. I’m holding out some wishful thinking that Asus will update this TF700 situation and the MeMO 370T. If not at Computex, then they are waiting for the Google conference at the end of June. That would be upsetting to me and others! Don’t let us down Asus.

    • Ro says:

I am in the same situation. This is ridiculous. Al least they could have provided an official (stimated) release date. This week is my limit. In my case it will be “Hello Samsung” or “hello Motorola”.

  47. Done Waiting says:

I was done waiting also. Their customer service is awful anyways. I got another brand android based tablet and more than happy with it.

  48. Gaz says:

IF Asus are trying to take on apple then they have a long way to go. All Asus do is shout about its tf700 infinty and keep everyone waiting and waiting ITS A JOKE people are so fed up with waiting I got so fed up i got my self the ipad 3 and have to say iam glad i did as Asus are a Big let down to its customers, Poor communication from ASUS I really think that we deserve more as we are the customers people will only wait so long before they get fed up

  49. Gaz says:

I think you will be lucky to see the tf700 before christmas 2013 and by then there will be a new one on it way as asus seem to gud at that haha leading people on

  50. Boeltwit says:

Is there anybody who knows the following:
Has the Asus Transformer Infinity 10.1 a Atmel MXT768E controller inside? so it can
be used with the maXStylus mXTS100? (Wacom stylus system)
Else I must wait and buy the Samsung Note 10.1, but I love the Infinity……
It would be better to sell the Infinity with this information (if its build in) a lot of ppl are looking for this option…….

  51. James says:

TiaChi…… love it. But at what cost. This hybrid and the infinity have me upset as well. Take a product to the public with an event then with that introduction give a solid release date! Don’t drag it out so long. We have seen what Asus does. Release a product with awesome specs. Then the release will get pushed back to a point where bigger and better is available by the time sufficient quantities are available for an already dated product.

  52. msg_moi says:

I wish we could flip the tablet 180 in the clamp and close the lid face up… or have the hinge rotate 180 that would be just perfect….

  53. Mike says:

How could you allow Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and School Graduations to come and go without the release of this dreamed up device. Results; disappointing customers and tens of thousands of lost sales. Fire your marketing and development team ASAP!!!!!!! Never thought I would say this but, Apple me…. ;^)

  54. Murelle says:

Hi guys. I gotta question regarding these two ASUS products we all been waitting for to come out. My question is which of these two ASUS products the Padfone and the Transformer infinity TF700 would you recommanded to someone?

  55. Gaz says:

i read on asus web bullshit site that the tf700 is due out on the 10th june well suprise suprise its still not out

  56. Mike says:

    check this out:

    http://news.softpedia.com/news/ASUS-TF700-Infinity-Tablet-Gets-July-Launch-271281.shtml

Read the comment at the bottum. I don’t work at bestbuy but I do believe this guy is telling the truth about it being released on the 22nd of July. Its just a feeling coming from different sources as well. Hopefully it won’t be pushed back again but we won’t know for sure till that date rolls around.

  57. Kirk says:

Come on Asus. The Acer Iconia A700 just released for pre-order today June 13 in the US with shipment later “this” month…… tic toc tic toc!!!!

  58. DUTCH says:

And the Acer Iconia A700 has 1920 x 1200 resolution.

  59. Quentin Adams says:

I’ve read that the Transformer Infinity (TF700T) has met/passed FCC approval in the U.S. With that being said when can we expect a release date?

    • admin says:

Hi, thanks for posting. It would be safe to assume that it would be at least 4 weeks. The wait on the TF700 has been painful for a lot of people, myself included. Perhaps it will ship in the first part of July. In my opinion there has been some production issues which inclues more than just TF700T delays. I’ll update as news breaks…. when it breaks….

  60. Chostomo.exe says:

This is riiiiiiiiidiculous! I had been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I do not own a tablet and i had been waiting to buy my very first tablet, but this is insane. I will have to go ahead and buy the competition. Screw this waiting game. This defininetly gives me a red flag. I will not buy Asus products. That’s it! IPAD3 is the answer. This virgin tablet user will have to be settle for an Apple product. Bye, bye! unacceptable to say the least Asus.

  62. rdymixvic says:

Some of us have been waiting patiently for the release of your product, you should think about giving us some sort of bonus for hanging on. Maybe a coupon for a discount. Something. It’s getting harder and harder to wait.

  63. mscmichael says:

To be honest, I dont’t really need a tablet, but when I first saw the 201, I said to myself that’s something I would like to have. That was a day or two before I read about the TF700, back in early April, btw. I have been waiting very patiently indeed. Altough patience is a virtue, this delay with Infinity seems to be approaching the end of time !!! Well, I don’t exactly know which dept. is responsible for this delay, but to my eyes this makes ASUS an ureliable company. Not to mentioned the problems with 101 & 201. I am afraid that I have exhausted the last drops of my patience. It’s actually a pitty to realize that all all of this waiting time has gone to waiste. I’m sorry ASUS but I’m gonna have a change of plans…

ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 to launch on June 25th lets see if this one is true

(admin:link deleted – article is misleading and speculation only)

    • admin says:

That link story has zero credibility sorry to say. It’s what I said a couple days ago. It’s speculation and nothing more. A website who put up an unboxing etc has taken it down until the 25th of June. That doesn’t mean a release date unless you’ve read something that I missed. I don’t like misleading articles suggesting something which is speculation as being fact. Regardless of that I appreciate all your comments on the site. Thanks.

I wrote about this a day or two here: Richies Room Transformer Infinity videos taken down until June 25th

Speculate away as to the significance of June 25th.

  66. Jim Bob, Wasilla says:

I don’t want an Infinity in a week a I WANT IT NOW Asus.

Pull your fricking fingers out and get it on the market now.

  68. DUTCH says:

It’s being reported elsewhere that an ASUS rep has confidentially said that the Infinity TF700 will be launched in the US at the end of June. There is a supposed Launch Video posted here:

  75. DUTCH says:

I see that JR.com has pulled their Infinity preorder website down.

  76. Liquid Platinum says:

Nice webpage, but I think it could use some of the specs and stuff need some updating lol… http://www.asus.com/Tablet/Transformer_Pad/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_Infinity_TF700T/

Ordered from the Amazon.de website from Amazon.de. Was shipped late Friday 06th July 2012. Should take delivery on Monday. Very excited!

  78. DUTCH says:

I had placed a pre-order with JR.com while their pre-order page was still up. Even though they’ve taken that pre-order page down, my order still stands. Here is the email just received:

  79. DUTCH says:

    Delay & Price Increase?

There’s word that the release in Australia has been put off a month and that there is also a price increase. See here:

    http://www.goodgearguide.com.au/article/429551/asus_delays_transformer_pad_infinity_raises_price/

Let’s hope that this does not bleed over to the US, but I’m afraid that it might. I wonder if it has anything to do with supply problems for the high res screen.

    • DUTCH says:

If they keep this up, it will be old technology by the time it’s released.

      • admin says:

Thanks DUTCH for your great posts. I really appreciate that story regarding possible Australian release date and pricing issues.

While Abt still has a page up for the Infinity, it has removed the ability to place a pre-order. Here’s what it says under each model of the Infinity:

New Item- Not Available For Pre-Order

  81. Kirk says:

This is what I got today from Abt (isn’t this how it went with the Prime?)

    Greetings from Abt.com.

  82. Chris says:

If it helps I placed my order on Monday at 8:06 pm and got an email that said, “We are writing to let you know that we have been tentatively informed by Asus that your order for Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Tablet Model #TF700TC1GR will be filled in our first shipment of product.”

    Hope that helps

  83. Chris says:

    That 8:06 was MDT BTW…

  84. Jim says:

I ordered the ASUS TF700 Infinity the evening of 7/13 from the Office Depot website and was confirmed with a delivery date of 7/18. I forgot to order the keyboard and did that several hours later and was confirmed for delivery on next Wednesday the 18th.

I checked this evening and there are no changes in my order and the website still shows that they are in stock!!!

  85. Ryan says:

Storage: 16/32/64GB SSD ?? is it Solid State Disk??

  86. whaaa says:

where are you seeing add to cart buttons on Amazon.com??? I’m doing searches and dont’ even see it in the search results…links?!?

    • whaaa says:

ah, I see it now, althought the model numbers look a little different than I expected and for some reason they don’t come up as the first results for tf700/tf700t or transformer infinity…

also says usually ships in 3-4 weeks, I wonder if that’s accurate or not….

  87. D says:

Wonder why the shipping says “Usually ships in 1 to 2 months”….

    • whaaa says:

yeah, pretty week, 3-4 weeks at soonest, 1-2 months for other models. It’s possible that things are still waiting to ‘go green’ and once they do it will be full on normal shipping times, including 3.99 one day with prime! I can dream at least….

  88. Debbie says:

Looks 3-4 weeks for Amazon on the Amethyst Gray tablets. 1-2 months on the Champagne tablets. Docking stations aren’t even available to pre-order yet.

    • admin says:

Hi thanks for posting that info. I have found the docking stations available on Amazon to order and links are at the top with the listings. I’m concerned about those dates listed but I’m also skeptical right now. It seems bizarre for Amazon to be listing them to add to cart when they would normally put a pre order button when shipping is that far off.

Thanks for visiting the site and contributing!

  89. whaaa says:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=tf700&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma

up w/ prices, but no specific shipping/stock info. still pre-order

    • DUTCH says:

And, if you read the fine print, the pre-orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable. Here’s the money quote from their website:

      Availability Details

This is a new item and is not available yet, We are accepting orders and they will be filled in the order they are received. An authorization will be processed upon placing the order. Your order will only be charged at time of shipment. Item is non-cancelable and non-returnable.

  90. Steff says:

F.Y.I…..for those wanting a 64gig. Grey is “IN STOCK” as of 1430 MST at B&H:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/878305-REG/index.html

  91. Steff says:

Hang onto yer hats all; as of 11:00PM MST Amazon is showing both the 32 & 64g
IN STOCK…get by July 18th! The 32 grey shows only 3 in stock however.
Is this some kinda freakin game?!!

    I’m done playing…don’t care anymore

  92. DUTCH says:

Even though B&H says the Infinity is in stock and my order was sent to the warehouse yesterday afternoon, it did not ship. Will update as things change.

  93. Dreane says:

Doesn’t seem like this is a pre order, this shows “out of stock.” So this is a back order. Amazon has these in stock now.

  94. Steff says:

    UPDATE: Weirder n weirder.
Checking status of my TigerDirect order online shows both items backordered and not yet shipped. A call to CS: got an automated response with my order number indicating that tablet shipped “next day” TODAY but that dock will not be available for another week…even tho if ordered via their site now, it shows 3-5 days for the dock.
Will let ya know if/when Infinity received
Just yet another note of interest: I ordered as a bundle for the regular price of $649.99 tab+dock together. Tiger’s site shows normal pricing if ordered individually
but now $749.++ for both! DUH~~~

  95. Steff says:

that 749 was for the 32g..must be a misprint

  96. randy says:

B & H has the grey 64gb in stock, ordered yesterday shipped today have ups tracking info. Still shows in stock

  97. Steff says:

YUP…just recd an email from B&H advising that 32 gig (tablet only) is in stock. As previously mentioned, you can also order from Best Buy online to be picked up in your local store in 3-5 days.
Bottom line, except for color preferences and some dock delays, everyone should have a TF700t in hand within or a week or so…ya think?

  98. DUTCH says:

Received my TF700 day before yesterday. While the display is very nice, the OS is really herkee-jerkee with some apps and some websites. Kind of a let down.

  99. Steff says:

Recd my TF700 yesterday..no dock yet. So far OK, BUT, this is my 1st tablet and 1st Android device and there is NO documentation all. I’m pretty good at figuring things out thru trial & error (got set up, location set, network recognized, yada yada) but it sure would be easier with a little manual for little things like “this is how you move this widget, etc”.
Anyone know of a good how-to resource specifically for this device?
    Thanks!

  100. Steff says:

    Thanks, Dutch!!

I’m having some issues just accessing some sites…haven’t had time to really play there..we’ll see.

  101. Steff says:

BTW…There were firmware updates right out of the box; I imagine you’ve downloaded (?)
Hopefully stuttering will be addressed with one

    • DUTCH says:

Updated and no relief. The stuttering, stops and starts continue. This is being widely reported and complained about over on the XDA-Developers TF700T Forum. I’m not the only one. Hopefully, Asus will remedy this soon.

  102. Gaz says:

Well ive read loads of things about all the bull asus has said about the ft700 release and now they say its out at the END OF AUGUST in the uk So you will not see it for sale in stores for another month lol its a joke yet again its ashame as i really wanted one be got so fed up of waiting i bet other people feel the same

    • DUTCH says:

Maybe, by that time, they’ll have the I/O and the stutter/stop/start problems fixed. Right now the tablet is a real disappointment when it comes to performance, Internet browsing, etc for many of us.

  103. Gaz says:

31 August with a suggested retail price of £600.

This is 50 per cent more expensive than the current Asus Transformer Prime tablet combo, which also includes the keyboard docking station found on previous Asus Transformer tablets, This converts the tablet into a fully fledged ultrathin notebook and can increase the tablet batttery life from 9.5 hours to 14 hours while adding a touchpad, USB ports and an SD Card slot.

THIS IS A RIP OFF……. £600 IS A RIP OFF FOR A TRANSFORMER THAT HAS BEEN MAKE TO WORK CORRECTLY BECAUSE OFF THERE F**** ups the first time round This item should have been made right in the first place. we are being cond again what a supprise

  104. Gaz says:

Asus are Ripping people off again there is no way that the transfomer infinty is worth £600 for the wifi only. The 3G model dose that mean it will cost £800 ASUS what a RIPPPPPP OFF IPAD all the way

  105. Gaz says:

Asus Y is the infinty for sale in the U.S for $600 and in the U.K for $930 iam so Pi** OFF at Asus as people like my self have been waiting for god nose how long now to be ripped off again people will not put up with this much longer there are loads of new products comeing out cheaper and just as gud ASUS really need to start to look after the people that buy there products and not ripping them off

    • DUTCH says:

This kind of post really takes away from the good value of this website; but since the Infinity has been released, the real usefulness of the website has passed.

  106. kim says:

when are they going to release this in Saudi?
