Breaking news! The Asus MeMO 370T has just showed up at the FCC! It’s so breaking that we can’t even check some of the details just yet. We see the listing and the model number and not much else.
A lot of people (like me for example) are very excited to see this. There have been a lot of rumors about this 7-inch Asus tablet and many people thought it might never be released. As you might recall Asus is co-branding a Google tablet. The MeMO 370 which was showcased at CES 2012 was thought to be the choice design for the Google tablet. To see this at the FCC now means it could be coming out in about a month. It’s not known when the exact release date is. The model is officially the ME370T as it is shown with the FCC documentation. Expect this soon to be best selling 7-inch tablet to make a showing at Computex 2012!
Something also worth thinking about is the fact that the MeMIC has previously passed through the FCC. It’s the headset/handset attachment that was originally for the MeMO 171 model. Considering this fact, it’s quite possible that the MeMO 370 will have phone like abilities and 3G or 4G LTE connectivity. Time will tell but it’s something quite possible.
